Digital Runways: The New Norm?

DIGITAL RUNWAYS: The new norm?

"The runway is still my preference. There is no replacement for the live scenery, the atmosphere of an in-person fashion show. Fashion is not just about the clothes, but the human connection and adapting to our ever changing culture. But we've been thrown the pandemic curve ball and having to adapt in more ways than we imagined. Perhaps that has put our creativity to the test.

Pivoting to the digital world may have to be the norm- for now. Audiences can revisit and rewatch from anywhere in the world where details and craftsmanship are front and center like never before.

From "Slippers to Stilettos" makes for an interesting meme for 2020 as stay at home casual wear takes off like a rocket but I think the real success lies in the flexibility of going from runway to URL and back".   -lisa

"Fashion videos have become short films that enhance the emotional experience of tapping into beauty and culture. I've found that people don't shy away from 2 minutes of models moving about in places that are relatable, that may bring their fantasy life closer to reality".   -lisa
