Fall Cafe Styles :

Dreams are Brewing

Slouchy, a bit grungey, mixing chic parisian looks are storming cafe`s across the globe. Could be the influence of the recent Paris Olympics? Diverse social groups, remote workplace culture are effortlessly creating their own on- the- go modern wardrobes. Head out to the local cafe- the place to immerse in the latest fashions.
Dreams are brewing.

Fashion Parade: Past and Present

Fashion Parade History

Fashion Parade: Past and Present

Fashion Parade History

Since 1901, in- home fashion shows (aka "fashion parades") have fascinated us with couture designers local and abroad while toting their own notions, potions and their intricate, eye catching, impeccably made fashions. Modern times replaced private home shows with exclusive invitation only runway shows such as with "Fashion Week" in major cities throughout the world; Adding red carpet notoriety and media companies to go completely digital on national networks.

I still love an original fashion parade; the live interaction up close where you can discuss details, the process, the purchase and the story behind the design and be a part of a memorable gathering with other fashion connoisseurs.

If you've been fortunate to have participated in a vintage or recent in-home fashion parade, I encourage you to visit a modern fashion house museum. I guarantee you will be mesmerized by the details and impressive designs which inspire and encourage young fashion artisans to continue to create, allowing new legacies that reflect our current culture.

It will be an experience of a lifetime. -L
