THE EDWARDIAN STYLE EVOLUTION: THEN & NOW.

The EDWARDIAN STYLE EVOLUTION.

Then & Now.

Colorful. Whimsical. Completely Feminine.

Edwardian Style Fashion is loved by all around the globe. During King Edward's time...Queen Victoria was laid to rest and the Gay Nineties had subsided. It soon became "The Norm" to dress as if you were attending a Royal Ball or Private Tea Party every day of the week.

From the popular Masterpiece Theater TV Series, "Downton Abbey", film sets and wardrobe designers to the runways of Milan, it is still considered to be the most highly recognized, lady-like, quality style in the world.

"This layout gives my guests a look at how today's fashion collections are reflected of the Edwardian Style. I've combined some images of Then & Now with many interesting similarities but with room for your imagination.

I simply love this era of fashion. The elegance, quality fabrics, hand stitched lace, wool hats and royal-style jewelry will always intrigue me and inspire".

Grandma was ahead of her time.
