Denim Fashion Now

Denim Fashion Now

Today's denim designs are born out of what I call the

 "Quarantine Chic" era.

Sleeker looks, jumpsuits and upcycled patchwork styles have begun to really up the designer's game. Softer denim fabric, hand painted, torn up, bottom frayed,  oversized, layered, rolled up, ruffled, flared. Playful & seriously expressive.

Can you dig it?

Milan. New York. Tokyo. London. Los Angeles. Melbourne.

Jeans tell the history of global cultures.

The fashion that keeps us connected. -L

Denim Fashion Reimagined

Denim Fashion

Reimagined

Denim is still the clothing we choose to save when cleaning out our closets, in hopes of a hip new style to emerge so that retro jacket or high rise jeans will be worth hanging onto. Blame it on quarantining or reinventing a stay at home career but denim fashion has become a way to shout out personal expression. The recent design trends of hand ink sketched, handpainted, original art, overfrayed, distressed fringe and wacky sewn patchwork looks are becoming an incredibly creative outlet. 70's & 80's style jeans & jackets are currently the hottest vintage shop item request. Denim like no other fabric will continue to be in mainstream fashion. We can only imagine what's next.
