There may never be another John Galliano. However his extraordinary designs will forever amaze the senses and take us out of reality down the runways to far away dreams; where an era we thought was gone suddenly is brought to life before our eyes.

Galliano's artisanal shows and spectacular fashion romance has created quite an extreme challenge for fresh new designers to follow. I will blame his talent from his mother who instilled in him a bold and creative sensibility at a young age, where going out on simple errands was done with elaborate pride.
The fascination of how and where such detailed imagination was born simply does not come from Art & Design school alone. A force of nature must have played a role.

I've layed out some of my favorite runway moments 2003-2018 and unforgettable designs that to this day give me chills just staring at the details; imagining the secret inspiration behind Galliano's magnificent, era driven fashion. The ghost-like wrapped tulle and off kilter hats, dark and eerily whimsical makeup and the attitude and stature of his models are breathtakingly beautiful and on point for their role. His globally renowned collaboration with Dior was(is) Smithsonian -worthy works of art.
